    79% retrospective clinician estimates, 21% stopwatch-timed.

    The Documentation Minute: A Multi-Site Analysis of Time Spent on Clinical Documentation in Psychiatry, and the Effect of AI-Assisted Notetaking.

    202 documentation tasks timed across eight psychiatric clinics in Denmark and the UK, spanning 16 document types. Time is concentrated in long-form reports - Mental Health Act, medico-legal and court documents at 46 to 57 minutes each. Clinical notes fell from 14.5 to 5.5 minutes with Aisel (62% reduction; cross-site observational comparison, not a controlled trial). The heavy reports are the subject of the next study.
